The Nakiri Blade

Is a staple of Japanese cuisine with its straight, symmetrical edged knife that is perfect for chopping and dicing vegetables as it cuts straight without rocking like other more rounded shapes. The straight and thin blade allows for remarkably precise, delicate, and smooth cuts.

Olive Wood Handle & Brass Rivets

As with all of our knives, the limited-edition Nakiri Knife is made the authentic way – fully forged. This means they are made from one solid piece of stainless steel — from the tip through the hilt — and cut through anything. They are also nitrogen treated, which hardens the steel so that it holds edges longer and makes it that much more durable.

Fully Forged & Nitrogen Treated

The Perfect Plate Experience

Each knife is individually numbered and features a beautiful, European olive wood handle with brass rivets. Due to olive wood’s unique appearance and irregular veins, no two knives will be alike. The brass rivets add a kiss of perfection for this masterpiece that truly makes it a one of a kind.

Serialized Collector’s Edition

Each of the 3,000 Limited Edition Knives is engraved with a number in the series, ensuring yours is entirely unique. Once these durable Ovangkol Wood beauties sell out, they’ll be gone for good.

Ovangkol Handle

Often used to make guitars, violins, and cabinetry, Ovangkol Wood is known for its beauty and durability. Because it’s typically found in daily-use items, we know it’s strong enough for all of your kitchen needs.

Fluted Blade

Each of the 28 little oval dimples, or flutes, are designed to prevent vegetables from sliding up your knife. They instead keep them where they’re supposed to be—on your board and off your blade.

Forged in France

Like all of our Knives, this Ovangkol Wood Santoku is forged by a 5th generation bladesmith in Thiers, France. It is full tang and fully forged, meaning it is crafted from a single rod of stainless steel for maximum balance and durability.
